About Leon

Hi, I'm Leon Jones III, the current Student Government Association President at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, the Flagship of the Delta. I am committed to public service and seeking truth to achieve justice. I am a graduating senior working towards a career in journalism. Journalism was not my first career choice, but it is a place where I can best use my talents and passion to improve people's lives. I am active in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., student government, and the political science department. In May 2022, I will graduate with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Mass Communications. I hope to attend graduate school to study Multimedia Journalism and help people tell their truths.

Being a university student has been a time of personal growth. I learned a lot about myself in college, and I am ready to apply my lessons to life. I hope to use this site to host some of my work and share my thoughts about life.

I look forward to the day I can say, "I am Leon Jones III, and I will be attending graduate school to become a multimedia journalist." Until then, I will post here and hope someone will relate or be encouraged by what I share.
